Loss Voltage Protection For Electric Hoist

The control circuit of electric hoist consists of circuit breakers, transformer, terminal block, a control handle button, thermal relay, wire, slip lines and other electrical components. There must be loss voltage protection and undervoltage protection in the control circuit.

When the power is temporary blackout and then recovery of power supply, self locking control circuit will not switch on. Because the self-locking contact of  contactor has been disconnected. There is no current through the contact coil. The normally open contact will not be closed. So the motor will not start working by themselves. It means that it could avoid accident occur. This protection is called loss pressure protection.

When the line voltage drops, the motor torque will be reduced. At this time, the speed will be dropped, too. This has an influence on motor working. Certainly if the voltage has been dropped seriously, it may damage the motor. When the power supply voltage is reduced to a certain value and click the operation button, the flux of contactor coil will be weaken, the moving iron core will release, the normal open auxiliary contact will be disconnected and even loose self-locking function. At the same time, the main contact will be disconnected, too. So the motor has been gotten effective protection.

Be Careful To Storage Hoist Lifting Equipment

No matter large hoist lifting equipment or small hand hoist, uninterrupted work are always little. And there often leave a period of free time. In order to keep the equipment safety, workers should pay more attention to storage them. When you arrangement and layout the equipment, you must ensure that each machinery has no influence of other machinery.

Firstly, put hoist lifting equipment in dry room. It is not allowed to put them outdoor. Besides you had better cover with wood above the flat ground. Certainly don’t forget to put a cover cloth above the equipment.
Secondly, if you will storage the hoist lifting equipment for a long time, please do some good maintenance, repair the broken parts and clean them thoroughly. In short, keep their technology statue well.

Sometimes the paint of hoist lifting equipment may dropped. If the falling area is small, you can use paint repair method. On the contrary, if the falling area is large, you should painted the whole equipment again. During electric hoist equipment working, we often come across the problem of rope bite. Avoiding the rope bit can extend the service life of electric hoist equipment. At the same time, working efficiency will be improved. Certainly the working time, material and financial resources will not waste, too.
